I received more gently used clothes from a former coworker in comparison to what I have purchased. I think once we move into our home we will start looking around and pricing items. This is my third so I only buy what I need in comparison to when I was a FTM (I bought everything). A crib, dresser, basic room decorations, carseat, stroller, and baby wearing carrier is all I will need for now. I will also purchase a small pack and play downstairs or upstairs when my mom is watching the baby during the day while I am at work. I shop as I go as I am unsure how big she will be and how quickly she will gain weight during the first 3 months. I learned the hard way with my first son so I buy as baby grows.
